GREAT NEWS!! Permit-Ready ADU Plans and Guidebook are now available!!
Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (JADUs) offer a variety of benefits. They help increase housing supply, provide an affordable housing option for low- and moderate-income residents, allow elderly and/or disabled persons live independently yet close to family members or caregivers, and benefit homeowners by providing extra income that can assist in mitigating the cost of living.
If you are interested in constructing an ADU on your property, please review the handouts included in the links below and then contact Planning Staff to discuss zoning and development requirements for your specific property.
