During this 2 week academy, students will be introduced to the basic fundamentals and services that law enforcement provide to our community. The training topics will include: Patrol procedures, social media, laws in schools, drug and alcohol recognition, gangs, K-9 demonstrations, DUI enforcement, crime scene investigations and Drone (UAV) operations. 

Students must not have any felony convictions and no misdemeanor convictions within the past two years. Applications can be accessed HERE and submitted via email to citizensacademy@pittsburgca.gov.
