The City of Pittsburg Draft Housing Element is available for public review!

The Housing Element is part of Pittsburg’s General Plan, which is the blueprint for future development throughout the City. The purpose of the Housing Element is to plan for the City of Pittsburg’s housing needs by supporting a diversity of housing types, densities, and prices to meet the needs of current and prospective residents of all income levels and ages.

The Draft Housing Element is available online at http://www.ci.pittsburg.ca.us/index.aspx?page=811. Hard copies of the Draft Housing Element are available for review at the Pittsburg Public Library at 80 Power Avenue (go to http://ccclib.org/locations/pittsburg.html for library hours), and at the City of Pittsburg Public Counter at City Hall, 65 Civic Avenue, First Floor. The Public Counter hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except for 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.).

Please join us for a public meeting to take comments on the Draft Housing Element on Thursday, December 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pittsburg City Hall, Third Floor Council Chamber, , 65 Civic Avenue, Pittsburg, CA 94565.
