Pittsburg's annual Holiday Parade returns to Old Town at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 14. This year's parade will feature the Pittsburg High School Marching Show Band and dozens of parade entries, including floats, community groups and youth sports teams. The parade route will begin at 8th Street and Railroad Avenue, and will run along Railroad to its end at Third Street.

After the parade, come to Old Town Plaza between Fifth and Sixth streets for children's activities and food booths. Beginning at 10 a.m., the Pittsburg Arts and Community Foundation boutique will have handcrafted items for sale at 690 Railroad Avenue.

Got a hideous holiday sweater? Wear it on Saturday, and drop by the Holiday Boutique in the afternoon for the Ugly Sweater Contest. Judging begins at 3 p.m. Prizes will be awarded. The boutique is open until 6 p.m. Saturday, and runs 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Come for the parade, stay for the holiday activities and shopping.
