A second screening of "Thrown for a Loss: The Story of the 1963 Pittsburg Mallards" has been added at 8 p.m. Sunday, November 24 at the California Theatre. The showing was added in response to the sold-out premiere of the documentary about the youth football heroes' trip to Washington, D.C.

The documentary details the story of the 1963 Pittsburg Mallards, who traveled to Washington, D.C. on their way to play in the national championship for the 12-to-14-year age group. They were scheduled to attend a pre-game breakfast with President John F. Kennedy at the White House. The president's assassination changed those plans and team members attended Kennedy's funeral instead. They went on to win the national championship.
