Lots of activities are scheduled at the Pittsburg Library (80 Power Avenue) during February 2012:

Stories To Go Training
Friday, February 3, 9:00am to 11:00am
Do you LOVE reading and telling stories? Do you enjoy working with young children? Then our Stories To Go program is for you! Today is our quarterly training session where volunteers will learn about the program sign - up to bring the joy of reading to preschool classes. To register please call: 925-646-6423 and ask to be transferred to Maureen Kilmurray.

Who Pooped?

Get the Scoop on Poop! Come examine scats, tracks and other animal signs. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about the animals who share our neighborhoods! Presented by Mike Moran of the East Bay Regional Park District.

Pink Pig Pancake Party!

Join us for Pittsburg Library's Pink Pig Pancake Party! Wear some Pink, bring your Pet Pig or just join us for some Pancake Fun!

AIDS: A DOCUMENTARY
Saturday, February 25, 2:00pm
Local documentary film maker Kenny Hall draws on his own experience to tell stories of faith, hope, and love. This documentary focuses on the AIDS epidemic and how it has affected the African American Community. Two speakers will provide a Q & A after the film.

Attorney Counseling Evenings- Immigration Workshop

Members of the Contra Costa County Bar Association will hold a workshop is to answer any questions you might have regarding immigration law. Families will see a lawyer on a first come first served basis and have a free consultation. Please register at the Front Desk when you arrive.

Scamper on over to Whiskers' Workshop!  Each week we will share stories and make fun creations for you to enjoy!  All ages are welcome, parent participation appreciated!
