Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Pittsburg will conduct an online public hearing on July 19, 2021 at 7:00 PM concerning the following item(s):

• Introduction and Waive First Reading of an Ordinance to Amend Titles 5 and 18 of the Pittsburg Municipal Code Related to Commercial Cannabis Business Permitting and Adoption of a City Council Resolution Establishing the Allowable Number of Commercial Cannabis Permits
  This is a public hearing on a request for recommendation of City Council approval for comprehensive amendments to City of Pittsburg Municipal Code (PMC) Titles 5 and 18 related to commercial cannabis business permitting. The proposed updates would facilitate the expansion of the types of cannabis businesses allowed, including uses such as retail, cultivation, and microbusinesses, as well as the process and standards for business approval. On June 22, 2021, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 10170, recommending City Council approval of amendments to the PMC related to cannabis. This item also includes consideration of a resolution establishing the allowable number of commercial cannabis permits within the City limits.
