With several days of temperatures in the triple digits forecast for the week beginning August 14th, 2019, the City of Pittsburg is opening cooling centers where people can come and seek refuge from the heat. Sites will have air conditioning and water. 

Pittsburg Community Cooling Centers
Wednesday 8/14/19 and Thursday 8/15/19
• Senior Community Center, 300 Presidio Lane – from 9am to 6pm. 

• Pittsburg Library, 80 Power Avenue – from 10am to 6pm.
