City of Pittsburg’s Annual Holiday Parade
Santa will arrive in Pittsburg on Saturday, December 10th during the City’s annual Holiday Parade. The Parade will step off at 11:00 am will proceed down Railroad Avenue from 8th Street to 5th Street with the Pittsburg High School Marching Show Band escorting Santa down Railroad Avenue. There will be 36 marching units this year featuring local dignitaries, bands, floats, schools, karate and cheerleading organizations to name a few! The local Boy Scout Color Guard will start off the parade.
After the parade, children of all ages are invited to Peppermint Playland at Buckley Park. There will be magic and juggling shows, face painting, jumpies, crafts and cookie decorating. Peppermint Playland will run from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. Pittsburg resident will also have a chance to check out the newly constructed Bocce Courts at Buckley Park as well as the beautiful, new Christmas Tree just installed at the Park.
