Local author Traci Parent has been documenting gravesites and researching historic Rose Hill Cemetery for more than 30 years. She is the co-author of the book, Images of America - Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve. She won recognition for her research for the book, Rose Hill - A Comprehensive History of a Pioneer Cemetery in the Mount Diablo Coal Field.
Come to the Railroad Book Depot to meet the author, who will give a talk about Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and about Rose Hill Cemetery from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
