Public Hearing: 12/13 Zoning Administrator Hearing

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVING that the Zoning Administrator of the City of Pittsburg will conduct a public hearing in the First Floor Conference Room 4B at City Hall on December 13, 2023, at 2:30 PM concerning the following item(s): 

Diane Avenue Fence Height Exception, AP-23-0152 (FHE)

This is an application by Mathew Johnson, requesting approval of a fence height exception to construct a 6’ wrought-iron fence along the front property line of 283 Diane Avenue and front and corner side property line of the adjacent parcel located at 291 Diane Avenue. A manual sliding gate will be located across the driveway of 291 Diane Drive. Properties are located within the RS-5 (Single Family Residential, 5,000 square foot lot size minimum) Zoning District. The allowable fence height within this Zoning Designation is 4.5’ within the required front yard area and 4.5’ within the corner side sight visibility triangle, pursuant to Pittsburg Municipal Code (PMC) Sections 18.84.205 (B)(1) and (5). The request has been filed due to vandalism, loitering, dumping, and placement of stolen cars at the subject site. Assessor's Parcel No. 073-182-001 & 002.
